- I've really heard enough nonsense from the PETA people regarding abusive treatment of circus elephants! I worked for 2 circuses for years, and understand how elephants are very well kept in captivity. First, they are exercized so much more often than elephants in zoos.

- I can understand the fare hikes, but it took me several hours today to buy my monthly bus pass! Only The Transit Store downtown (they had a 3 hour wait in line) or Von\'s sell them now. Both Von\'s within 5 miles of me were sold out, so I waited in line for a very long time downtown.

- Alonso Duralde; I think you're trying to create a buzzword "twee" that you can be associated to, and make a name for yourself. If you don't agree with me, how many people have ever heard of Alonso Duralde? "Retro" and that ilk have been around longer than you've been alive, as in The Goodbye Girl.

- As I saw it, the best of the best were on the lists. I was surprised with the order of some categories/genre, but very satisfied overall. Lawrence of Arabia would certainly not have been my choice for the ultimate Epic film, but America voted...

- I stopped JUDGING others when I began reading the Bible. All that I had heard from religious zealots became moot. Get a 'red letter edition' of the Bible and read Jesus' words and thoughts. He would never have wanted gays to be persecuted the way they are today!
